Janske megens , graduated in 2004 at the department 3D Design of the Art Academy in Arnhem. She graduated with a colourful collection of hand made bags. She also attended an old fashioned handcraft education where she learned everything about leather workmanship.

The bags off the Janske Megens label are contemporary, fresh and wayward. The experimental knitting are combined with high quality leather.

The knitting from the bags and pillow covers are digital designed by Janske. Every bag has it own design. Janske developed a special technique creating relief in her knitting by using different kinds of yarns. She plays with perspectives in her patterns. Every bags has an unique knitting which is made on a digital knitting machine.

All bags are impregnated, making them water and dirt resistant.
