Rutger Prommenschenckel, born in 1980, is graduated Cum Laude on June 30, 2005 at the Amsterdam Fashion Institute (AMFI)

Rutger reveals in his work his perspective on historical and global issues. He thinks fashion in general has a wider vision on world matters as what people might think. His collections therefore have a theme, and consists of a mix of haute-couture and serial produced items completed with accessories of his own design. Experiments with materials and fabrics are essential in his work;
it creates possibilities for new or different silhouettes or fabrics than what could be expected. His designs turn out to be much unexpected, very surprising.
